I thought this assignment was really cool and disturbing at the same time. First, I had to take a picture of my face and shoulders and delete the background for total isolation. Then, I had to make a mask to do some touch-ups and I had to bring in and isolate a marble bust. Next, I had to use a technique which involved me merging and blending my face and the statue together to connect them and make it look like I'm a statue. I also used the clone stamp tool to remove my ID and still make it look like my neck. Then, multiple times I had to desaturate objects and fade them to make it look like stone. Next, I had to blend a layer of purple on the bust to add some color and contrast. After that, I used the photo filter effect and did and overlay of some dirt to make a old-like look on the statue and pillar. Also, I did a blur on that to smooth it out. Next, I added some highlights and shadows to bring out certain things with the brush tool. Plus, I did an overlay blend on that layer. Then, I put in and blurred a gallery background behind it all. I also added a pillar and made it match to the statue. Just for fun, I put in a gold plate for realistic effects too. A big part of this was that I had to add some blood but, I thought that was a little creepy so I made it to where I am crying rainbows! Plus, I had to add some highlights and shadow to the tears too. Then I made a purple glaze in my eye to make some sadness. Next, I had to make a "crack brush" to add some realistic looking cracks in my statue and pillar. Finally, I did a color adjustment to make everything to have its final effect.
