My product is Panda Pillows which is a marshmallow with a Panda face on it. Since it looks what one might call cute, I based my advertisement around that theme. I first used a fun type of pink for the background to create a bright, cheery setting. Then, I made a pattern out of polka dots with colors that matched and complemented the pink boarder. Therefore, I made a white rectangle inside the pink one and used the pattern overlay layer style to make the pattern go across it. I thought by doing this that it made the setting even more brighter and the colors can catch the reader's attention/eye. Also, kids might be attracted to the certain colors. Next, I found and used a picture of a bowl marshmallows with different cute faces on them that also used similar colors with my border and pattern. Since using just a regular block picture can be boring, I made a layer mask on the picture and used a soft brush to fade out the edges of the picture to give it a soft, blended look. I thought this made it look better and more comfortable. For the text, I used the font Myriad Pro for a informative and simple effect that's easy to fit anywhere. I made the text color a lighter green that stuck out and makes it easier to read. Next, I used the bevel and emboss, stroke, and drop shadow layer styles to make the text pop out and look better. It can also catch the attention of the reader. As you can see, I made the word "pandas" different from the rest since the product involves pandas and it draws attention to itself. I used a text modification on the word and used colors that represent a panda. The slogan, "What's a party without pandas?", refers to the picture because there are all kinds of marshmallows in the bowl, but there are no pandas. Therefore, there is no party without some pandas. After, the text I put the actual product logo towards the bottom right of the ad which sometimes other companies do. The intended audience group that I targeted was mainly kids but it could also be for anyone who likes marshmallows. I used fun colors and effects that would help attract kids or anyone who likes cute things. I also put in the cute picture for effect.

Overall, I think that you did a good job with this ad. I do wish that you would have added some color to "PANDAS" typography to better math the scheme of the rest of the ad. You could have also modified the original logo with a matching color scheme as well.
